Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Accessibility (DEIA)

The Cincinnati Memorial Hall Society (“CMHS”), the Longworth-Anderson Series and LAS Underground (both presented by CMHS) stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and all marginalized communities that have faced and continue to face injustice and inequality.

We reaffirm our commitment that CMHS, the Longworth-Anderson Series, and LAS Underground shall welcome and serve people of all races, ethnicities, religions, sexualities, gender identities, ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

We also reaffirm our commitment to diversity and inclusion in our lineup of performers for the Longworth-Anderson Series and LAS Underground, including featuring more Black and other artists of color, and partnering with Black-owned venues to host LAS Underground performances. We will strive to offer concerts and programming that reflect and appeal to our entire community.

We are actively working to improve the diversity of the CMHS Board of Trustees and the Longworth-Anderson Series Advisory Board, as well as our audience engagement strategies and media partnerships.

The recent protests in our region, country, and world have demonstrated the importance of continually asking what more we can do to combat injustice and inequality. We realize that we must do better and pledge to make Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Audience Access a renewed focus of our organization.  We invite your input and suggestions on how we can better serve our community.
